Running to some is a way of life. To others it makes their stomachs turn.  Yet, to the Ephrata High School harriers, it is a passion.  The Tigers entered today’s district championships with State on their minds.  The beautiful Apple Ridge Run course in Yakima was the backdrop of the 2A District 5/6 Championships today.  At the conclusion of the event, the Tiger boys had brought home a 2nd place finish and will send an amazing seven racers to next week’s state meet in Pasco, Washington.  Joining the boys in Pasco will be the lone female Tiger, Alexa Laughlin.  Laughlin brings home a third-place finish at districts and will race for a state title.  The Sun Willows Golf Course will again play host to the annual state event.
