This past weekend, the Ephrata Tigers headed to the District 5/6 Cross Country championships at Apple Ridge Run in Yakima, Washington.  The boys, behind the top 10 finishes from Hayden Roberts (2nd) and Hayden Malone (8th), finished in 3rd place.  The finish qualified 7 runners for the state meet this Saturday, November 5th at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco, Washington.  Also headed to state for the boys are Maddax Iverson, Cooper Black, Jay Shea, Aidan Devine, and Noah Yawney.  Not to be outdone, the girls team will be sending a pair of senior harriers, Alexa Laughlin (9th) and Cami Cox (14th), to Pasco to represent the Tigers.

There will be a state sendoff this Friday, November 4th at 8:05am in the high school commons.  The send-off will be broadcast live by TigerVision.  You can see the send-off here at tigervisionmedia.com.

In addition to qualifying for state, the Central Washington Athletic Conference recently announced its 2022 all-league team.  The boys placed Hayden Malone and Hayden Roberts on the first team.  Cooper Black, Maddax Iverson and Jay Shea brought home honorable mention honors.  Alexa Laughlin was the lone Tiger girls representative on the all-league team.  Cami Cox was named to the second team, while Paisley Ribble and Ellinor Sonnichsen were selected to the honorable mention list.  Coach Frank Moore was named CWAC Boys Coach of the Year.  Congratulations Tigers!
