Ephrata, WA – Tiger Volleyball brought home a sweeping victory Tuesday night on Marty O’Brien Court. Against Grandview, both Varsity and JV completed 3 set sweeps for the win.

During the varsity contest, junior middle blocker Kyndal Hines had three blocks in a row midway during the first set with Nayelie Alvarez and Piper Johnson adding big blocks in the game. The Greyhounds had difficulty against the Tiger defense throughout the evening.  During the first set, the Tigers had a scoring streak of 14-0 and again 12-0 in the 3rd set.

The evening saw both the JV and Varsity offense convert easy points. When Grandview did have a chance to make a run, the Tiger front-line defense came through, rarely showing any imperfections. Overall a great night for all Ephrata volleyball teams, wiping the board clean and grabbing an easy victory from the Greyhounds. The Tigers were rewarded for their continued hard work when the statewide rankings were released this morning.  The Tigers currently own the 2nd place spot in all 2A schools just behind the Spudders of Ridgefield High School.
