The Ephrata boys golf team has found success within the first half of their season. Coached by Greg Hewitt, the team has managed to earn twenty-one points within the first three league matches. Hewitt shared some of his thoughts on the team’s success so far this year. “The season so far has been going pretty well.  There are a lot of things and expectations that the teams are learning every day.  It has been a little bit of a challenge in that aspect, but as for playing golf, there has been a good improvement from all.  The boys have been taking care of the league competitions and have not lost.  They need to continue to better their games individually and as a team for the next step.”

With twenty-one points, the Tigers are at the top of the CWAC, three points ahead of Othello. The Tigers have come out on top for each match, earning seven points with each win. The Tigers’ travel to the Yakima Country Club today for the next CWAC pod matchup hosted by East Valley High School.  Tee time is set for 10am.
